Wonderful doctor and staff. Gives you as much time as you need. I have never felt rushed. Very detailed and skilled. His team was always responsive and caring. The results achieved with Dr. Stoller was more than I expected, just amazing. I am very pleased and recommend him.
After several years of research and delaying, I finally made the decision to go forward with hair transplant surgery. I quickly decided on Dr. Stoller after the initial consultation. He was very professional and took his time in discussing with me the various options available. I had lost a good deal of hair on the crown of my head, as well as in the front portion. I underwent my first procedure a little over 4 months ago. Dr. Stoller and I decided to start in the front and work towards the back of my head. It was a 6 hour procedure involving the harvesting of about 2400 grafts. Both he and his staff were very confident, which put me at ease. The recovery period was almost entirely pain free. I know that it takes about a full year to see the true results, but I am already seeing a return of my frontal hair line. I will be going to see Dr. Stoller in about 3 1/2 weeks for my follow-up appointment to check on my progress. At that time, I plan on scheduling my second procedure for sometime in late April to fill in the crown area. I believe that his pricing structure was very reasonable, and recommend him to anyone considering a hair transplant procedure.
Dr. Stoller and his staff are wonderful! Honestly, meeting Dr. Stoller has been a game changer for me. I have spent a decade using various products and receiving painful treatments from other doctors to help stop my hair loss, but nothing worked. At one point, my condition actually worsened due to another doctor's method. Dr Stoller took the time to listen to my concerns and at no point did I feel pressured. He offers genuine advice and options backed by proven techniques in the medical field. He eliminated my fears and explained what his recommendation was for my situation. He is very personable and so considerate of the emotional stress hair loss causes. I have been receiving PRP treatments for over a year now with Dr. Stoller, and while the results are slow, they are showing. My hair loss has all but stopped and there is new hair growth. His entire procedure is different from PRP treatments I've had elsewhere. I highly recommend Dr. Stoller and his method for PRP!
At our initial consultation he took the time to discuss all of the different options available to me, review the pros/cons of each, and address all of my questions and concerns until I had full confidence in him and the procedure. The procedure itself was a breeze. I did a FUT with 1,800 grafts a few weeks ago. It was much easier than I expected. His staff was very nice as well. They were a pleasure to talk to throughout. Best of all I didn't have any swelling afterward. My wife couldn't believe it. I'd highly recommend Dr. Stoller to anyone!
Dr. Roy Stoller is an excellent Dr. and a really kind and thoughtful person. He is the second surgeon I had a procedure with due to my frist one not coming out with the desired results I wanted. When I first met with him, he took more time than needed with me to answer every one of my questions (there were a lot!), even if they felt embarassing to ask, he made me feel comfortable and really cares about his patient's feelings, concerns, questions, and them getting the best results. You can tell he does not do this for the money, but because he is passionate about his work. He even diagnosed something on my scalp that answered a lot of questions for why my hair was doing certain things. My first hair surgeon hadn't mentioned or even taught me about this diagnosis, and Dr. Stoller explained it to me with anatomy diagrams and pictures so that I understood, and finally lot of things made sense to me. He was also avaible via text message for me whenever I had a question, answered them all, and even called me in to see him in person regarding my concern, and kept his office open after-hours just for me to be able to make it, because I was coming in after work. After my first surgeon, I consulted with 3 others for a second procedure, and he was the one I chose because of a gut-feeling I had. Even more as you get to know him, you discover how cool, interesting, caring, and kind he is. I am so happy with how my hair is turning out so far. Please see him!!
I met with Dr. Stoller about 9 months ago and had a hair transplant with him. I an very happy with the result. He gave me his cell number and it was good to be able to text him with some of the questions I had after the procedure. I really liked his Staff too.

Let me be frank, to understand how impressive Dr. Stoller is as a physician, you would have to understand his commitment to his patients comfort and needs as people. Dr. Stoller is easily, one of the most talented and impressive HT Physicians I have come across in the industry. I did a tremendous amount of research as well as multiple consults prior to settling on Dr. Stoller, and I was not disappointed. On 12/5/2014, I had a procedure of 2427 grafts. Very minimal swelling, virtually, no pain. My post surgery kit provided by Dr. Stoller had everything I needed to take care of the grafts, as well as the doctor himself checking almost every day for the first 2 weeks and subsequent monthly check ups. I couldn't have felt more comfortable.
Now, preset day, I write this review after 1 year post surgery. I could not be happier with the results. From day 1 post op, Dr. Stoller remained in contact. He answered all of my ridiculous questions (sometimes late into the evening), redirected my concerns, and reassured me how optimistic I should be and he was regarding my surgery. Throughout this process, Dr. Stoller made me feel like a patient, not a customer. This was my second HT procedure (HT in 2007), and it was night and day to my first experience. Simply writing a review does not begin to explain how good of a surgeon Dr. Stoller is. If your contemplating HT Surgeons, you absolutely need to sit down with Dr. Roy Stoller, you won't be sorry.
As for me, I will be visiting Dr. Stoller in the coming weeks for a follow up PRP Treatment. I have read all the reviews on here and they all virtually say the same thing, for a HT Surgeon, he's simply the best in the business....don't be swayed by the negative you may read. I'm proof, he is real deal.
I went to Dr. Stoller for my hair restoration (FUT) and am very pleased with the outcome. After carefully researching the best doctors of NY and going on countless consultations, I felt the most confident with Dr. Stoller. Everything that he had mentioned in our consultation was right on point. Also, the staff was very professional and extremely courteous. Thanks to Dr Stoller's technique, my recovery was quick and pain free. The incision line was not noticeable at all. It was perfectly hidden under my already existing hair. Despite the deep scar tissue on my scalp that accumulated as a result of previous surgeries, Dr. Stoller & his team made sure I was in no pain. No other doctor has ever provided me with such great care and outstanding service. He even prepared a bag of post-op medications/instructions for me to take home so that I didn't have to go to the pharmacy. He's very precise and careful with his work. My previous hair transplant doctors left me with noticeable scars and a pitted-looking hairline. Unlike them, Dr. Stoller is very experienced hair restoration physician/surgeon. I have researched a lot of surgeons, and I honestly wouldn't go to anyone else.
I chose Dr. Stoller for my second FUT procedure. I was happy with the results from my first procedure, but wanted to be even thicker, and didn't want to have transplant area buzz cut again. A friend referred me to Dr. Stoller and today I'm one week post-op. My recovery this time was much better, with no swelling, and it is obvious to me, that change is because of his exceptional skill and knowledge about transplant surgery. Today I would like to share with you my dream made reality. As some of you may know, four years ago I was diagnosed with cancer, which ultimately lead me to a series of surgical procedures and chemotherapy treatments. With the grace of God and the medical treatments I received I was able to overcome the cancer in my body. But not without first sufferings losses to both my self esteem and professional career due the cancer. As the side effects of chemotherapy combined with hereditary traits and aging had contributed to a highly accelerated rate of hair loss. However I thought to myself "I have much to live for, to share and enjoy precious moments with my family and friends, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle and my overall emotional well-being". With that said, I decided I owed it to myself to reverse the signs of my hair loss. I explored many options, and was unclear which option to choose until, by odd chance, I met Dr. Roy Stoller. Based on what I learned of his clinical procedures and experience performing successful hair rejuvenation through the use of modern techniques were the key motivators in my decision to choose him to fulfill my dream of hair transplant procedure. Thanks to Dr. Stoller and his skilled staffs use of Artas robotics my treatment results are progressing successfully. I located Dr. Stoller by way of Yelp, having consulted other practices in the area, including Maxim, among others. From the moment I walked into the office, the office staff was very friendly and welcoming. Thereafter, you are asked to watch a tutorial video about hair transplants (almost like -- hair transplant for dummies which essentially gives you the law of the land). Quickly after that, Dr. Stoller meets you and gives you a diagnosis after evaluating your symptoms, and utilizing a device. Why did I choose Dr. Stoller? He was the first, and only one to actually give me a diagnosis before giving me a treatment plan. I understand plastic surgery is a business, but he actually cared. Dr. Stoller gave me his personal cell phone number and we have texted ever since (and not always about medicine). On surgery day (although expectedly long), he had excellent bedside manner and so did his staff. He explained the risks and benefits of the procedure. After surgery, he would text me to make sure I was healing well. I only got the surgery a few weeks ago, so I don't know if all the hairs will grow yet (apparently takes a full year for growth), but I am confident in Dr. Stoller's abilities. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

After extensive research and "shopping around" for a reputable surgeon I chose Dr. Stoller. This is one of the best decisions I've ever made! Simply life changing. He was referred to me by a dear friend who had a transplant a few years ago (Apparently he knew several folks who also went to Dr. Stoller and couldn't be happier). His hair looked so natural that I decided to book a consultation with Dr. Stoller. BEST decision ever! I like the fact he has his own practice. I visited some of the larger hair restoration companies and didn't want to be treated like just a number. Dr. Stoller's office feels clean, comfortable and yet very "New York" upscale. Well worth the trip into the city. He is an amazing plastic surgeon and really tells it how it is and lays it all on the table. He set realistic expectations and quite frankly I'm surprised with how amazing my hair has already grown in. I had both my hairline as well as my eyebrows done. Dr. Stoller is super approachable and made himself available to answer any questions I've had since the procedure. Couldn't recommend this Plastic Surgeon enough!

Dr. Stoller is simply phenomenal! I went to a few other clinics before his and a family friend referred me to Dr. Stoller. From the moment I met him, I knew I could trust him. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and extremely kind. I did a FUE with him a few months ago and he always checks in on me and makes the follow-up visits very personal. He is attentive to my concerns and always takes the time to answer every question. As a physician myself, I am extremely impressed and inspired by his knowledge base and patient care. He is the best! I made an appointment with Dr. Stoller on March 2, 2018. When I was introduced to him, I told him I had done my research and I picked him as my doctor. I was not going to see anyone else. His manner is very comforting and really made me feel at ease. After doing an exam he explained to me that I was not a candidate for his services. Even after he knew I would not be a future patient, he continued our visit until all my questions were answered. Thank you Dr. Stoller for giving me the correct advice and saving me from a future disaster.

Gentlemen, many of us loose our hair or experience thinning, and we should be talking about it with each other and hair specialists. Solutions are available and accessible. I went for a hair consultation but honestly had no expectations, being that I tried a couple of other different doctors before, that left me quite disappointed. This time was totally the opposite: I found a warm personality, full of professionalism, and for the first time it gave me the feeling it's not all about the money! I spent around an hour and didn't feel rushed at all, got useful answers and suggestions about my hair condition and steps needed to take in order to improve it. I came primarily for a hair transplant but he suggested other options before going to that direction. (Previous doctor kicked me out in less than 20 min, telling me I need 4,000 grafts hair transplant, worth $23,000, which seemed absurd even for someone like me that has no clue about this - Dr. Stoller confirmed that it was an outrageous amount of grafts for my condition, possibly 1,500 needed, if I decide to go for a transplant). Again, highly impressed by the doctor's character and his approach. Grateful that I found about him, regretting that it didn't happen a year ago, when I firstly went to a different clinic, paid $350 only to be left with a bitter taste, less than 15 min and a pill suggestion was all I spent my money for
I am a man in my late 40's and had FUT procedure with Dr Stoller during 2015. Approx 2400 grafts. Very very happy with the result and rate Dr Stoller as A+++. Highly recommended. Great technical and professional skill and a wonderful caring manner. Would be delighted if all the healthcare professionals I encounter were as good. Dr. Stoller was thorough and detailed in his approach. I am a nervous patient and he allayed all my concerns. I never felt rushed or that he was watching the clock. Quite the contrary.
