HOW DO WE GET YOUR PLATELETS?

  • STEP 1

A small amount of your blood is drawn from your vein.

  • STEP 2

Your blood is placed in a PRP vial and spun in a special centrifuge to separate your platelets from red and white blood cells.

  • STEP 3

Platelet-rich plasma appears as a clear yellow serum after it is separated from the darker components made mostly of red blood cells. Calcium chloride (CaCl) is added to the PRP and activates the organic growth factors.

  • STEP 4

Dr. Stoller injects the pre-determined areas of concern based on your consultation.
