Dr. Pawlinga’s journey into hair restoration began as a patient himself. After earning his Bachelor of Science from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Pawlinga experienced hair loss and underwent a hair transplant that transformed both his appearance and his career path. Inspired by his own results, he pursued specialty training immediately following his residency at St. Clare’s Hospital in New York and completed one of the few sanctioned ISHRS fellowships in hair transplantation surgery.

Dr. Pawlinga further advanced his skills through direct training with Dr. Roy B. Stoller, one of New York’s leading authorities in hair restoration. This mentorship helped refine his technique, artistic approach to hairline design, and commitment to achieving natural, life-changing outcomes for his patients.

Known for combining medical expertise with aesthetic sensitivity, Dr. Pawlinga is passionate about helping patients regain both their hair and their confidence. “Hair loss can be deeply emotional,” he says. “As both a surgeon and a patient, I understand the impact this has on someone’s life.
